Jay Chandler serves as an advisor at EDS, with 36+ years of experience in Equity Capital Markets, formerly Senior MD at Evercore and Merrill Lynch.
Jay recently retired from Evercore’s Equity Capital Markets Department after 10 years at the firm. During his time at Evercore, Jay was a senior managing director and head of their equity syndicate team. Together with the Evercore team, Jay helped build Evercore into a top tier equity underwriting firm. Prior to Evercore, Jay spent 26 years at Merrill Lynch and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. While at B of A Merrill Lynch, He served 5 years as Head of Americas Research Sales and 7 years as Head of Global Equity Syndicate. Jay also served as Head of Equity Capital Markets for Liquidnet, an alternative electronic equity trading platform and as a consultant to STJ Advisors, a capital markets/IPO advisory firm based in London. Jay has a BA degree in Economics from Princeton University.
