Sales veteran brings decades of leadership experience
NEW YORK, July 12, 2021 — Equity Data Science (“EDS”), a cloud-based analytics platform provider that delivers decision support tools for the investment process to hedge funds and asset managers, has named Jen Vermeulen, CFA as the Company’s new Head of Sales to advance the company’s growth strategy and market expansion. Vermeulen will lead all sales acquisition efforts and will be based in New York.
For more than 20 years, Vermeulen spent most of her career at FactSet focused on sales, both as an individual contributor and a sales manager. Throughout that time, she worked closely with hedge funds, asset managers, wealth management firms, and plan sponsors, understanding their investment process and improving it with technology. For 5 years, Vermeulen managed a highly successful, new business team at FactSet, based out of New York. Most recently, she came from Allvue Systems where she sold an enterprise SaaS solution to private equity firms.
