About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and data-driven individual to join our analytics team as a Data Analyst. In this role, you will work closely with senior management to create dashboards to help drive data-driven decision-making within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection and Preparation:
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external datasets.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through data validation and cleansing procedures.
Data Analysis:
- Assist in performing statistical analysis and data modeling to uncover meaningful insights.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and outliers.
- Collaborate with senior analysts to develop and refine analytical models.
Reporting and Visualization:
- Create reports and dashboards to present data-driven insights to stakeholders.
- Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create interactive visualizations that facilitate understanding of complex data.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Work closely with senior analysts and data scientists to learn and develop advanced analytical techniques.
Continuous Learning:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in analytics tools and techniques.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance your analytical skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, Python, R, or SQL.
- Basic understanding of statistical concepts and data modeling.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI or TIBCO Spotfire is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
- Prior experience with data analytics or internships in a similar role is a bonus.
