UI/UX & Visual Designer

About the Role:

We are hiring a passionate, creative, and user-experience focused UI/UX and Visual Designer to join a collaborative and innovative team to create a delightful and easy-to-use digital product in a fast-paced environment.

You will create functional and appealing features that address our client’s needs and help us grow our customer base.

Responsibilities:

1. Creating user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback
2. Creating user flows, storyboards & wireframes
3. Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
4. Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns, and attractive user interfaces
5. Designing UI elements such as input controls, navigational components, and informational components
6. Creating original graphic designs (e.g., images, sketches, and tables)
7. Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems (e.g., responsiveness)
8. Collaborating effectively with the product, engineering, and management teams
9. Incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into the design to enhance user experience
10. Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
11. Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images

Desired Skills / Qualifications:

1. You have a degree/diploma in Design or Fine Arts.
2. You have a strong portfolio showcase.
3. You are a critical thinker, problem solver and customer-centered.
4. Some knowledge of usability factors in Human-Computer Interaction.
5. You are proficient in Figma’s design and prototyping tools, including the creation of interactive prototypes and complex design systems.
6. You are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically with InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
7. Knowledge of After Effects / Premiere Pro will be a plus.
8. Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus.
9. You pay strong attention to detail and have a keen eye for aesthetics.
